Nashville, TN (October 27, 2008) ----- Centricity Music artist Daniel Kirkley reaches back to his roots with the release of his new EP, As Tomorrow Comes. The album, featuring Kirkley’s vocal accompanied only by piano and cello, is available online at www.danielkirkley.com, on iTunes where it is featured as What’s Hot Now, and at Daniel Kirkley concerts.
The six songs on As Tomorrow Comes are presented as many of Kirkley’s audiences have come to experience him – with Daniel at the piano. The passionate performances speak from Daniel’s heart, as “God Of Our Yesterdays” reaffirms the message of grace; “Lead Me To The Cross,” lifts up the humbling reverence of submitting to the love of Jesus; and “All Is Well,” is about finding hope in the uncertainty and trials for daily life.
“When the time came for me to record a new project, I had something very specific in mind,” explains Kirkley. “Musically, my first love has always been the piano. In many ways I wanted the production to sound as if you were sitting with me in the home I grew up in; playing these songs from that old upright piano where I first learned to read and write music. I felt that it was important for each song to be a personal reflection of my life and relationship with my Heavenly Father.”
“To hear the power and passion of Daniel’s voice and his heart for the church through these songs is quite moving,” says Steve Ford, VP of marketing at Centricity Music. “At a label we have the opportunity to hear the artists sit behind a piano and share their music minus all the production bells and whistles. Through As Tomorrow Comes, the listener will be able to share that same experience.”
This is Kirkley’s second release on Centricity Music with his debut CD, Let Love Win, receiving strong support from the industry. Kirkley has toured with Natalie Grant and Point of Grace, and has appeared on such television shows as, Gospel Music Channel’s Christmas At Union Station, Crystal Cathedral, Daystar’s Celebration, LeSea Broadcasting’s Harvest Show and Life Today With James Robison.
Kirkley will launch the “As Tomorrow Comes” tour in early 2009. For updates on Kirkley and his touring dates please visit, www.danielkirkley.com or www.centricitymusic.com.
